Overview
Mechanical and electrical design for an ISO-classified cleanroom and vivarium fit-out inside an existing shell.
The brief
The tenant needed ISO 7 and ISO 5 spaces with tight temperature, humidity, and pressure control — inside a base building whose air handling was never meant for lab loads.
Our engineering approach
We designed dedicated once-through and recirculating air systems with HEPA terminal filtration, low-humidity reheat, and a cascade pressurization scheme, backed by clean power and lab-grade emergency systems.
The outcome
Every classified space passed certification on the first pass, humidity held within +/-3% year-round, and the process equipment came online two weeks ahead of the tenant's schedule.
